UV Printing Designed for Illuminated Displays

Each backlit banner is printed in full color using UV printing technology. Because illuminated graphics display differently with and without light, you can select a print-density option based on when the banner will be viewed most often.

Single Layer Print

Single layer printing is recommended when the banner will be viewed primarily during the daytime or in areas with strong ambient light. Colors appear more natural without illumination but may look lighter when the lightbox is turned on at night.

Double Layer Print

Double layer printing uses increased color density and is recommended for nighttime lightbox displays. The added ink density produces stronger illuminated color but may make the banner appear darker during the daytime or when the lightbox is turned off.

Important color note: Backlit banners are intentionally printed at a different color density than standard front-lit banners. Screen colors and unlit print colors may not represent the final illuminated appearance. Let us know how the banner will be used so the appropriate print profile can be selected.
